Worship and Music:
Acolytes, Altar Guild, Chalice bearers, Lay readers, Choir (occasional), Musicians, Flowers, Teller, Usher, Greeter, Vestry representative, Prayers of the People

Christian Education:
Godly Play program; Adult education facilitators (includes Simple Supper topics) Stewardship Committee                                                    

Hospitality:
Welcoming committee; coffee hour; other church and community dinners (e.g., pre–summer theater dinners)

Building & Grounds:
Landscaping; Clean Team; Building upkeep

Environmental Awareness:
Environmental Stewardship Committee; Listening Project on the Environment (winter 2007-08)

Ministry and Mission:
Family Care: prayer for those requesting it; prayer chain; prayer shawl ministry; meal sign-up when members request help with meals; Homebound Visitation Ministry; Order of Saint Luke healing prayer group; Centering Prayer group; church newsletter.
Local Outreach: Financial and/or volunteer support of various community ministries, including: Habitat for Humanity, Senior Center, Meals on Wheels, Senior Daycare Center, Reconciliation House, Hospice, Imagination Library, Mountain Opportunity Center, U Turn Ministry (for teens),  Literacy Council, Family Violence Coalition, Crossnore School, Camp Henry scholarship fund, Centro de Enlace.

Other activities: Fair Trade coffee/chocolate purchase center; annual Valentine’ s dinner/dance fundraiser for a local need; annual Christmas dinner for prisoners; ongoing meal delivery for members when requested; Latino ministry (new; has included ESL for mothers); occasional other fundraisers, like Day of the Dead cultural exchange in 2007; monthly silent prayer sessions open to all.

Global Outreach:
Financial support of, prayer for, and on-site participation in, medical mission work
outside the USA (one member has worked through ERD first in Pakistan, now in the Dominican Republic; the church helps support that, and joins him as needed; the church helps support other members—adult and youth—in similar work, elsewhere); support of the WNC Diocesan sister diocese of Durgapur, India; support of members doing medical and computer missions with the Episcopal church in La Ceiba, Honduras (2000-2002); education on global situations.
