Our new summer dinner dance - A Midsummer Night's Dream - was a great success!! 

Many thanks to all who helped make this a reality - the chefs and bakers, interior designers, media mavens, men's group for setting up tables and chairs, wait staff, ticket sellers, people who donated wine and food, musicians, artists who created and donated silent auction items, attendees and everyone else.  We reached our goal of raising $3000 for the Reconciliation House Fuel Fund. 

On Nov 7th our Bishop the Rt Rev Porter Taylor visited with St Thomas to consecrate our new Memorial Garden, to receive Stacey Lane into the Episcopal Church and also to help us burn our mortgage which was paid of this year.

Our August 27th pasta dinner was a tribute to Maryallen Estes and all her hard work she does for the Yancey Senior Center. The fundraiser was a tremendous sucess raising over $3100 for the Senior Center.

These photos were taken at our March outreach dinner where we bring together folks from the organizations in the community that we support. The dinner allows parishioners to meet the groups and to thank them for the vital work they perform in Yancey county.

On June 5th we had a joint service with the folks of Griffith Chapel Church at St Thomas followed by an excellent pot luck.
